What we love about South Africa:

CAPE TOWN

What moves you? What stirs your soul? Where do you find your freedom? Come to Cape Town and choose your adventure.

A coming-together of cultures, cuisines and landscapes, there's nowhere quite like Cape Town, a singularly beautiful city crowned by the magnificent Table Mountain National Park.

Voted as the most beautiful city in the world time and time again, Cape Town has it all.

From world class cuisine, to heritage and culture, from magnificent beaches to majestic mountains, from sprawling vineyards to shopping bazars, Cape Town will capture your soul and rejuvenate you spirit.

SAFARI

The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is a 65,000 hectare reserve, pioneered by local landowners in the 1950s, and shares a border with the world-renowned Kruger National Park.

Today, many of these families are now third and fourth generation land owners, their legacy being the successful conservation of the highest density of big game in South Africa. Even though there is a 50 kilometre unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, wildlife in the Sabi Sands Reserve is well habituated resulting in extraordinary close encounters and prolific sightings, particularly of the elusive leopard. The Sabi and the Sand Rivers run through the reserve, which add further dimension to the bio-diversity of this area.

Also guaranteeing the Big Five safari sightings.

But South Africa has many other game reserves, private and government all offering extraordinary safari experiences.

JOHANNESBURG

Commonly known as Jo’burg or Jozi, this is the vibrant heart of South Africa. A rapidly-changing city looking optimistically towards the future. New loft apartments and office developments are being constructed at a rapid pace here and the hipster-friendly neighborhood of Maboneng is now considered one of the most successful urban-renewal projects in the world.

Unstuffy with a lot to see and do, Johannesburg is a foodies delight with some of the best restaurants and chefs in the world. Also is awash with superb museums, mostly offering deep insight into South Africa's past such as the Apartheid Museum. Visit Soweto the home of Nelson Mandela and the birth of the Rainbow Nation. Delve in and experience the buzz of a city undergoing an incredible rebirth.

VICTORIA FALLS (ZIMBABWE OR ZAMBIA)

Although not in South Africa, not journey would be complete without a visit to the Victoria Falls.

Taking its place alongside the Pyramids and the Serengeti, Victoria Falls (its original, pre-colonial name is Mosi-oa-Tunya – the ‘smoke that thunders’) is one of Africa’s original blockbusters. And although Zimbabwe and Zambia share it, Victoria Falls is a place all of its own.

As a magnet for tourists of all descriptions – backpackers, tour groups, thrill seekers, families, honeymooners – Victoria Falls is one of Earth’s great spectacles. View it directly as a raging mile-long curtain of water, in all its glory, from a helicopter ride or peek precariously over its edge from Devil's Pools; the sheer power and force of the falls is something that simply does not disappoint.

Whether you’re here purely to take in the sight of a natural wonder of the world, or for a serious hit of adrenalin via rafting or bungee jumping into the Zambezi, Victoria Falls is a place where you're sure to tick off numerous items from that bucket list.

DONT MISS OUT - Wine tasting in Cape Town, Shark diving, Penguins on the beach, Table Mountain, Whale watching, game drives to spot the Big 5, Museums, adrenaline adventures around the country and in Victoria Falls,
